    Great Bar

I have used some of the best powerlifting bars available. But, these premium bar costs a lot, particularly for Canadians. I really wanted a stainless steel bar but the costs were prohibitive until I stumbled across this bar. The bar is not perfect for me, particularly that the sleeves are not fully smooth. However, I won’t reduce my rating because of that since some people prefer the extra bit of security that provides (although I think most prefer a smooth sleeve, something for Ironbull to consider in the future). Also, the knurling goes right into the bushings. I worry that over time that if the bushings begin to flatten, the knurling will interfere with the sleeve spin. However, these minor things aside, the things that are most important to me it has; the bronze bushings, the stainless steel, and an excellent knurling. I would describe the knurling as aggressive, but on the more passive side of the aggressive scale. Yet, with the volcano knurling, there are many points of contact in your hands. Thus, it provides a solid grip without being annoyingly abrasive. The knurling is as good or even better than the knurling of barbells twice as much. For the price point, this is easily one of the best deals out there, particularly if you value a stainless steel, bar. This is even more true for Canadians. Good job Ironbull.

    Good quality for the price.

The bar is thick and has good rough knurling. Perfect to lift heavy and keep a good grip to the bar. The stainless steel finish is nice as well. At this price point you won't find better.
